I got a Mac Plus a few days ago. Someone threw the complete system in the trash, and I rescued it. Now why would they do that?? Anyway, it's complete with keyboard, mouse and external 2nd floppy drive, all in near-perfect condition. � I had a bit of a hard time to make a bootdisk because it only reads 800k disks (yes, the external floppy is also a 800k) and I didn't have any DD floppies -�until I remembered that covering the left-hand hole in a HD floppy with tape makes it look like a DD disk. � I upgraded the memory from 1M to 4M,�then�attached an external 40M SCSI drive and installed system 6.0.8 on it, and now it runs like a charm. Thank you, Gamba, for the System6 Vault! � Since this is my first system that really runs well under System6, I intend to play a bit with it; I'll probably try to do a little programming as well. I've been trying to locate the System6 version of MPW (version 3.1 I think), but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have it?� TIA � Silviu
