Yo compacters everywhere, Where our Joe WF Runnels <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> asked:
<<I got a radius pivot card in my SE/30 when I saved it from a dumpster, I know I need the cable to connect an external monitor to it... I checked the site that soemone suggested before and could not discern this form the site, does anyone have the cable I need, the card is a color pivot Ver. 2.6 with 256K. I guess its not a very rare or in demand card, but it would be great if I could get it working... >> Our Gamba <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> responded: <I think your best chance would be from tacobill, a member of this list, who shows up mostly on weekends, and who seems to have *everything*. :-)> Hmmm... I guess this must be the weekend. And I guess I must have a reputation. While getting some other stuff together for Joe, I was planning to look around the basement for some Radius stuff that I just know is there somewhere. Gawd knows that I have too many of these huge Radius monitors around here that all seem to require something special which no one seems to have. We shall see if the basement has anything in the way the downstream part of Joe's Radius card. I am a bit concerned about Joe's card being a Color Pivot card. While I believe that Radius did make such color cards for the SE/30, it constrains our search a bit. And, Gamba, I still plan to sort through all of those PDS adapters also in the basement. The discussion and especially the pic of Stuart's SuperMac adapter reminded me. I do believe I have one of those SuperMac adapters also. In a IIsi that I haven't fired up for maybe two years, I also have a two slot card of some sort with a 50MHz DayStar accelerator and a Video Spigot card. I was dabbling in video editing with it but having no digital camera of any sort, splicing Quicktime samples together quickly became boring. Maybe I can use one of your adapters to squeeze this clod (my term for an assembled hodgepodge of anything) into an SE/30 and edit grainy black and white movies? Naw. I seem to remember that the Spigot card was NuBus and won't likely work in an SE/30. Oh well. Bye the waye. I don't have *everything* in my basement. Only Stuart has those prized "Colour Classic" name plates for a Colo(u)r Classic :]. Bill -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
