No connection with seller, buyer, nor anyone else; just wondered what a 'HyperDrive' board is/was?
I don't know anything about it, but it's fun to play guessing games based on the components visible.
Looking at the picture, the main components appear to be a pair of storage devices (ROMs, EEPROMs, etc.) and a 40 pin DIP. My first thought was that this was a SCSI card for the pre-Plus machines. However, the cables in evidence don't seem to support that idea, and the DIP has the wrong number of pins. A 53C80 SCSI controller has 48 pins. However, an 85C30 Serial controller has 40 pins, so it's possible the thing supports some kind of serial protocol, which doesn't really tell one a whole lot.
