I'm a sucker for a Mac. I went to check on a tip about a guy who had
"pallets" of Macs this morning. Turns out he DID have. But now is down to
Apple IIe's their monitors and two Plusses and an LC 520.

On stripping one of the Plusses, preparing it for bleaching the outer
hull, one of them had a charge left in the CRT. (Left it off for around five
minutes.)

I got a jolt from the red lead. Second one in my history of fooling with
Macs. Then I got another from the hole in the CRT where the red lead fits.

Needless to say, I am alive and well. The shocks were like the spark plug
when the lawnmower is running.

Not that all people are as resistant to it, but I'm once again living proof,
emphasis on living, that the CRT incident may not be as terribly deadly as
many have reported.
