When I got my Classic it did not have a keyboard cable and I was able to use the mouse on its own (Not terribly useful mind you) so I am guessing the keyboard on its own would be O.K. Am I correct in the anology that Apple's ADB is not dissimilar to today's USB ??

I looked in and can see the back of the HD, the floppy plug below it, but to the left appears to be empty up to a metal plate about halfway towards the front. Doesn't look like there's anything special in there. Oh well, I'm still going to keep this Mac. Next question: Since I can't hot swap the keyboard/mouse, can the mouse be used without a keyboard? I could use Key Caps to type with when needed. And can a keyboard be used without a mouse?
