Now, that is most likely in the "more trouble than it is worth" category.

I suspect that you would have to design and install/burn an EEPROM to 
give you the proper signal output. Besides, I can usually pick up ADB 
mice and keyboards for $1.29 a pound at the local GoodWill Outlet. A 
little wash up and almost as good as new.
