Hi: I recently purchased a Macintosh SE. I turned on the Mac and I get a floppy disk and a question mark inside it. I am assuming, since I am a neophyte to this, that the Apple Macintosh SE computer is asking for a boot disk. Well, I received no boot disk with the Mac.
I took the advice of a friend to downloaded a copy of Mac 6.0.8 from the website. I attempted to load disk 1 of 2, but the Mac rejected both disks. A floppy disk with an X appeared and the disk automatically ejected. The disks were 1.4 megabytes a piece, if that's any assistance to you. So, I'm appealing to you all, what is my next move? I received an Apple Tour disk, but it won't boot the computer up so that I can use it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
