The 2x3 block is likely the addressing. Look for any letters or numbers around it.

what is that for?


on the card itself it has "Asante Technologies INC  SE30I"  Does that
mean anything to anyone?

Yeah. Asante is one of the bigger names in Mac networking hardware.


It's a little strange it would be identified as SE30I since it's clearly for an SE/30 OR IIsi. It's been a while since I installed any of these so I don't recall what they were called.
