Hi all, I have a Color Classic that I bought about a year ago. Lately the display has started "flickering" in brightness. Occasionally the picture is really bright and a little smaller and then it flicks back to normal size. Sometimes this occurs once in a while, othertimes it happens continiously. I've had the back off and checked the AB and little board on the back of the tube for loose connections, burnt components, etc.
I don't know much about CRT analog electronics so if someone could suggest a general area to check I would appriciate it. It seems that the regulation of of beam current from the cathode to the first set of control plates is not working right... (but what do I know?)
