This is a complex settings issue. On the color CRT's neck are rings that,
when turned, will make vertical lines look like a solid color, not multiple
ones.

If this isn't a software issue, it takes a mirror, lots of time, and a
steady hand to bring any colors that have moved out of convergence back into
line.
