I'm in total agreement with Tony here. I think once a month (maybe twice) on given days (so as to ease the List Nanny from having to keep track) would be a great idea. With regard to shipping to foreign (non-USA in my case) countries, I'm all for it, provided the buyer understands that even a small piece of gear can cost a small fortune if it has to be shipped far enough away. Sorry, ran into that not too long ago on the LEM swap... I think that requiring sellers to have a standard subject line or at least part of one would be needed too, so those that aren't interested in aquiring more compact Macs (perish the thought!) can filter out the for sale items. LEM Swap List does this now by inserting [SWAP] in front of every post. I would think that requiring something similair on this list would help weed out the swaps if you're not interested in them. I would also think that it would have to be done on an honor system, as Stuart can't possibly have time to look at every post before it reaches us (at least I would hope not). Perhaps if you mess up with the established protocal (whatever it may end up being), it would count towards the "once a year" rule, and the second time you're out?
