What, exactly, is the maximum capacity of the SIMM slot of the 575 board in a Color Classic? Apple seems to say a 32 MB SIMM, Low End Mac 64 MB, and some on this list say 128 MB. 32's are very common on ebay, 64's less common, and 128's nonexistent.

I know I won't see a big performance gain with a maxed out 132 MB Color Classic vs. a more typical 36 MB running OS 8.1, but, or course, we don't upgrade these for practical purposes, do we? Also, people seem to have more problems with the larger sizes.

Greg

PS. Yes, I know 128MB would be faster for running multiple applications and Photoshop than 36MB, but that's not going to be a typical use for this machine.
