Electronics and water don't mix when said electronics are powered up (although a recent experiment with a mostly-dead Linksys switch seems to indicate otherwise, or at least I have very soft water). When it's off and unpowered, water doesn't do a whole heck of a lot to most electronics as long as it doesn't rust. I had a friend in the recycling business have a pallet of monitors sit out in a thunderstorm overnight, let them dry out thoroughly, and the only effect was somewhat cleaner cases.I might would do that but the dishwasher doesnt work in this house. But it seems to me that would just cause the boards to go dead. Electrionics and water doesnt mix.
