Your previous post is only five hours earlier than this one. Do you say that you
have washed the mobo and let it dry only for three or four hours? I would let it
dry for two full days before trying to power it on again! Even if it seems to be
dry, there can be enough misture in the board's surface to create one (or more)
short circuits and make it don't work or even damage it!

I have been talking with a friend of mine that is a repairman about the
"diswasher" method. After the first laughs (it really is a very amusing
method!), this is what we have come about it. It has a good base (cleaning the
conductive substance dropped by the leaking capacitators), so it's worth a try.
But when you're mixing electronics and water you must be sure to let the thing
dry completely before using it again. And we also have decided that the
diswasher is a lot more dangerous than a hand washing, because high water
presures can damage the surface soldered components. Thus, the best method is
the toothbrush-and-dish-shoap method, but if you are very lazy and really want
to give a try to the diswasher, I'd use a delicate progam at low temperature (30
centigrade degrees or lower). If you are carefull with the mobo, perhaps this
method won't repair it, but at least it won't damage it even more (so you can
try other things...).
