2) Having an inline terminator won't hurt (and, in fact, conforms to the
standard "one terminator at each end of the bus" rule). If the scsi
cable is short, you can readily get by with just one terminator at the
end, though.

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but since the Plus has a SCSI ID, it's actually the end of the chain, and it's probably internally terminated. The Plus probably has a SCSI ID of 7. I would remove the inline terminator and see what happens.
