I recently acquired a used SE/30 with an Ethernet card already installed in it. I
plugged a live Ethernet cable into the connector and the green LED on the card lit up.
However, I’ve not been able to activate the card in the Network Control Panel (OS
7.1). Unfortunately, the hard drive was recently upgraded and whatever drivers were
originally on the machine are now gone. I cracked open the case and tried to determine
the brand of the card but I can’t find any names on the card. The only text on the
card is as follows:
On the PDS Card
SI A Series BD-006C
A Series V1.0 0040101504E68
On the Connector Card
Connector Card A Series BD-020B
I’ve posted pictures of the cards at the following address:
http://home.earthlink.net/~scottsee/
1) Does anyone know who made this card?
2) Where would I find the drivers for it today?
3) What is the toggle switch on the connector card used for?
Thanks,
Scott
