Your Linux box has an ftp server. Enable ftpd

If you don't have ethernet, get it. With two machines you'll want to talk some more.

Find an ftp client for your Mac. Interarchy from Stairways is what I use on older 
Macs. curl for OS neXt. Fetch has been around a long time.
