The problem there is, there's no way to add additional hardware on any of my Apples...the PCMCIA controller on my 5300 is fried. But thanks for the suggestion.

These are made from working mac floppies that are imaged on a pc. Drop me a line offlist if the images are of use to you.
Another method is discribed here http://macfaq.org/software/macos.shtml#Q1.1.6 but its a messy way of doing something that should be simple, I've had no luck with this method which doesn't mean much.
