Both are PRAM associated. Change that battery.

At boot the system first looks at the SCSI ID set in PRAM which is probably 0 but may 
well be something else if the battery is dead or weak.. If it fails to read it starts 
with ID 6 and works down finding the first disk with a usable System Folder.
