Yes, it is running off a floppy disk.....  I tried copying it over to a  
new floppy disk and the problem is still occuring; then it hit me that  
if the app got corrupted on the other disk, it probably will not work  
no matter what disk is on.

Oh well, i'll just check it out when my other applications arrive in  
the mail...

Sounds like damage in the Word Processor app. Is it running off a  
floppy?
A sage and very good tech-friend of mine says always start with  
software.
