Having got the new jiffy bags and visited the PO to weigh and price postage, I can now announce the arrangements:
The cards have 15-pin D-type and RJ-45 connectors, and even come with an ethernet cable. They're shrink wrapped, well boxed, and come with instructions and a driver floppy. I.E. standard Asante retail pack.
They are available only to Mac UK or Compact Mac list subscribers in Europe, one per person at least initially. As I'm handling them on a 'cover my costs' basis, there will be no personal support - not that you should need it.
Please note that they are not suitable for SEs.
They are for your own use; anyone found trying to re-sell on eBay will find life a misery. ;-)
The cost including recorded P&P to UK addresses is �10.
I will quote for other European destinations on request.
Payment by PayPal is preferred - taking �10 cheques to the bank is a real pain!
If you want to pay by cheque, please ask for my address.
Process:
1. Reserve a card by emailing me directly. DO NOT HIT reply, or it will go to the list, and I shall ridicule you mercilessly. ;-) Please indicate how you plan to pay.
2. I will confirm that I have the card to meet your request, and give you my address if you're paying by cheque.
3. If you're paying by PayPal, you have three days in which to do so.
4. If you're paying by cheque, you have five days for the cheque to arrive.
5. I will send out the PayPal funded orders within 3 days, and the cheque-funded ones within 10 days, allowing for cheques to clear.
