From the LEM page about this list:
"Using our "once removed" rule, discussion of other pre-68040 Macs is allowed but discouraged. Quadras and later really should be discussed on other lists. Owners of other Macs are encouraged to join the appropriate list from those listed on the right."
It means that you can go a little outside the realm of compact Macs on this list, if you must, so LC discussions won't get jumped on quite as hard as if you posed a G5 question!
