The 68000 macs (I really mean 68000, not 68xxx) have very few browser options. They
are:

1) Samba (MacWWW); the only system-6 compatible browser (the rest all need system 7).
It's very buggy, slow, doesn't display
images, and you can't download by clicking on links.

2) MacWeb v1, v2. Doesn't support the HTTP HOSTS extension, so it can't get to sites
that are virtually hosted. Version 2 is
so unbelievably slow that you will be *sure* that your Mac has crashed, even though it
hasn't. Use version 1.00A32.

3) NCSA Mosaic, v1 and v2. Bulkier than MacWeb; does show crude inline gifs. Also does
not support the HOSTS extension.

4) MacLynx (not exactly a browser).

*No* version of Netscape will run on a 68000 machine. It requires color quickdraw,
which is not in any 68000 mac. Note that
the SE/30 (which uses a 68030) *does* have color quickdraw in rom, despite its being a
monochrome computer.

AFAIK, that's a complete list of 68000-compatible browsers.

Tom
