Would I need "DiskCopy" installed for this to work, or is
"01 of 19" some kind of self-mounting archive?

See my website page http://www.dur.ac.uk/p.e.brierley/vintage05.html which gives a description of what I did about halfway down the page. My situation was a little different since I copied the disk images to an external hard drive (using 19 floppies - that wasn't much fun!) but the principal was the same.

Oh yes - those floppies! I have no net access at home so I did all the copying at work on Saturday, and then walked the 2 miles to get home and try it out. Part way through I found that disk #17 or something like that was faulty, so I had to walk 2 miles back to work to copy it again and then 2 miles back to try again!
