It's a nice site, but it doesn't provide me with any clue how to decode the MacBinary .bin files once I get them onto
a Mac filesystem. I'll probably need to do that because I'm
downloading them at the office on a non-Macintosh BSD
machine.
Grab MacBinary II, strangely enough. ;) a handy tool to have under any classic OS for the .bin files stuffit stuffs up.
As for 7.5.3, its a self mounting diskcopy image containing 19 images. All can be downloaded on a pc and tranfered to a mac then *opened* with stuffit lite. Opened doesn't always mean drag and drop.
If your stuck I can send you a image containing stuffit lite 3.whatever that you can make on a pc with rawrite, winimage, or the excellent and free winrawrite ect and then use on the mac.
Stuffit 3 lite is basicly stuffit deluxe with a nag screen so the
translate and segment/join options are available. This means it will also handle .bin files among others.
From memory, IE has a builtin binary and binhex expander.
Check a local info-mac mirror or the pure mac web site for more software optios.
