Now I guess that means there is no possible way to shoe horn a imac board into a on topic mac (maybe not the SE).

There are many ways to skin a mac. Cheaper and better optioned.

I lean towards the purists, if I wont more feature I'll buy another mac. For the price mentioned it IS about the money.
