Gack! If you can figure out how to get OS X to treat a monitor as a portrait display, you may get away with tucking an old laptop into heavily modified case. Not that I would encourage such things, but I do have a fancy for portrait monitors and think that a tall and proud compact would fit the bill. It sounds like the latest PowerBooks even have an ADB controller. I've been wondering if it is possible to pull a couple of lines outside to use a real keyboard.
