Actually, the error code says that you have a bad ram chip at location F9, not G7. If
it's to be believed (it can get fooled by some other problem from time to time, so
it's not 100% certain), then you will need to replace the 64kbit DRAM chip at that
location.
There are letters and numbers silkscreened along the edges of the motherboard to
identify the position.

The chip you need is a 4164 (or equivalent), with a speed of 150ns or thereabouts
(it's best to match the speed of the other chips, so go with whatever they are; I
forget at the moment, but it's certain to be no greater than 200ns). To replace, use
sharp diagonal
cutters to snip off all the leads on the old chip, as close to the body as possible.
Then use a soldering iron on the foil side of the board, and remove one pin at a time.
Do not pull too hard, or you run the risk of lifting a trace. And don't apply heat
longer
than absolutely necessary.

After removing all the pins, make sure all of the holes are clear (use solder wick or
a solder sucker to suck up the solder, and/or a thin-gauge wire shoved through the
hole quickly). Then insert the replacement chip and resolder. Carefully inspect your
work to
make sure that you haven't bridged adjacent traces with solder blobs, and that you've
truly soldered each pin securely.

Good luck!
