Hi Phil, Peter, et al.

I've got the MW/MP manuals. I've added that to the page. Note there's
now a personal-history introduction and I've started the Mac Plus/512Ke
sections, but I've got a long way to go there. The upgrades section
will mostly be a link to Phil's page on the Dove upgrades and any other
pages about upgrades that I think are nicely done, with a note about
the "Monster Mac" 2 Mb upgrade that I got at a garage sale a while
back, and a summary of what Pina says about other types of upgrades.

Phil, I'd love to have a look at the 032-0002 MW/MP changes sheet--I
don't have it. If you can scan it and send it to me, that would be
great. Otherwise, could you give me its title and a synopsis of what
it says? I would really appreciate it. I really like your site--very
helpful. I can add some information to your page about the original
packaging <http://www.mandrake.demon.co.uk/Apple/m0001box.html> -- the
January 1984 bundle also included a warranty card, a "Free MacWorld
Offer," and the stickers. I can send you scans or photos of this stuff
if you like ...

You can see the warranty card and the stickers in the DigiBarn photo,
but it is not very useful because it doesn't provide enough detail.
All I can see is that there are at least four disks and the one on top
is a Write/Paint disk. Perhaps the owner did exactly what I did in
1984--throw out the MW/MP box and put all the disks and manuals into
the plastic box.

Peter, I'd love to know if your set of materials confirms, contradicts,
or adds to my little narrative:

Hi Eric

I'll scan the additional sheet with MacPaint/MacWrite when I next have my scanner out and mail you a hi res copy. If you're able to scan the warranty card and MacWorld offer slip, I'd be very grateful. I'd forgotten about the stickers which are mentioned on the original packing list. I have several sets which were obtained from an Apple dealer. If I have the space, I may include a scan of the packing list at some future date.

I look forward to your continuing work. The page so far is well presented and brings together data from many resources in a handy way.

Phil
