I don't know anything about the EN/SC (though I'll be diving into that
soon), but my Asante ethernet cards for my SE and SE/30 don't appear to
work with 10/100 baseT switches, so you'll probably need a 10 baseT hub
or switch in addition to the router. Perhaps a list member using an EN/SC
can verify that?

I'm currently running an SE/30 with 20M RAM, and System 7.1 and access
the internet with DSL. The only suff I've added was an Apple download
called "NSI ZM-1.4.5" (I've no idea if this is needed for the internet,
or if this is a file sharing package) and OT/PPP.

The OT/PPP download says it requires (or recommends?) System 7.5, but
I've been using it with 7.1 for over a year now (and many list member
have for a lot longer) with no troubles.

Shouldn't need to upgrade the OS just to get on the internet.
