Hi...John, your LC II should accept up to a 1.2 Gig SCSI HD without requiring a partition. You can also add a 32mb stick of RAM for a total of 36mb, which would allow you to easily run Mac OS 7.6.1...if you wished. 7.6.1 is a VARY stable OS...as opposed to any flavor of 7.5...in my humble opinion.
