You'll also need a system disk. Gamba's site (http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/) has
a complete archive of older System versions, with information on what will run and
what will be recommended to run in each machine.

I don't think you can buy them. Most companies are now out of bussiness, and the ones
still alive won't be interested in selling old games. You'd better try to find an
abandonware site.

You can not read or write 400 or 800 Kb disks with an external floppy drive. You need
to have a Macintosh with a built-in floppy drive. Furthermore, MacOS X is not able to
write 400 Kb (single-sided) floppies even when the
hardware would support them. The only way to go is having an 'intermediate' Macintosh
with a 1.44 SuperDrive (an SE/30 or a Classic I/II will do the trick and is small and
cute).

They doesn't exist - all PC 3.5" drives are double-sided. But you can allways take a
720/800 Kb disk and format it as one sided. If your System version supports them, that
is - I'm not completely sure, but I think one-side
format support was removed somewhere between System 7.6 and System 8.
