I have a 2GB Seagate Hawk, a 1.2 GB Apple-branded Quantum Fireball, and a 700 MB Apple-branded IBM DSAS. I also have two 4G Seagate Barracudas, but they're probably a bit big and hot for a Compact Mac... you would need to run them externally.
