You'll probably want to copy some Extensions and Control Panels to floppies
before you do. Some of them work great with 7.1, and add "services" to it
that are compatible. See Gamba's site.

Not all can be kept, tho' because some may be problematic for 7.1.

Otherwise, the above described is what I do to remove an unwanted system
folder.
