We know that email clients are flawed in this respect and it's nothing less than mind-boggling that we still don't have a proper support for mailing lists (ie. context-sensitive buttons changing to "Reply to list" and "Reply only to sender" when appropriate, with an ability to set defaults PER LIST, not mentioning the integrated list manager/subscriber/unsubscriber/mode changer/archive viewer... but I digress) -- especially considering that email actually predates WWW, and we're not talking months here.

But... as far as I'm concerned, Compact Macs behaves as every other list I'm on. And whether it's natural or not to use this or that button, or whether the wording is right... it's the same everywhere, so I would think twice before tinkering with it. It's very risky to start confronting decades-old habits.

(And I reply to individual people by simply manually copying their email addresses... I know it's a burden, but I learned to live with it, and it's definitely less annoying than if the list changes the default reply-to behaviour.)

Just my 2 cents.
