To disconnect the wire from the picture tube, lift up the edge of the "suction cup" and you will see the connector on the end of the wire connected to the connector of the tube. Generally, you press two prongs of the wire connector together to disconnect it from the tube. Once you lift up the edge of the rubber shield it should be clear how it works.
