LCD screen in a Color Classic?

So I came across this new 640x480 LCD panel with a VGA input, and besides 
being a bit smaller than the CC screen space, it otherwise seems perfect 
(with a 575 aka Mystic motherboard and the VGA mod):

However, the only info I can get on putting an LCD inside a CC is 
incredibly vague:

Anyone have any more info/experience?
