I have problems getting my Apple Macintosh IIsi to see an HP SureStore
CD-Writer 6020 to be recognised.

The HP SureStore CD-Writer 6020 has been transplanted into an Apple CD300
SCSI External CD-ROM Drive casing.

I know the HP Surestore CD-Writer 6020 is O.K, since I have configured it
with a PC & using Adaptec CD Creator 4 to read & write a CD.

I also know that the HP SureStore CD-Writer will work with a Macintosh,
since in the Readme with Welcome to Toast CD-ROM Pro 3.0.5 it is one of the
supported CD-R.

Supported CD-R Drives

Here is a complete list of drives supported by Toast CD-ROM Pro 3.0.5:

HP CD-Writer 6020
HP SureStore 4020
...

The is my current set-up ;

Apple Macintosh IIsi with 64 (65Mb) & 2.0Gb HDD

OS : Apple System 7.5

Application : Adaptec Toast CD-ROM Pro 3.0.5

CD-R Model : HP Surestore CD-Writer 6020 in an Apple Macintosh CD300
External Case.

O/S Exctension : CD-Rom Extension (Enabled) - Version 5.0.1

The only thing I can think of is that the ID Select on the HP is different
to that of the Apple.

Any help on this, would be more than welcome.
