I did find a German/English site that uses an Axion MV 0951 9" VGA color monitor, into a Classic II, for an upgrade to an LC 475 mobo project. I would guess that with an VGA adapter, the same could be used in a Classic case. Now, finding that particular monitor.....
Did they use an extra 'case extension' at the back for the end of the CRT?
One alternative would be a grey-scale Classic with iMac l/b - use the original CRT and the 'innerds' of a 12: mono screen.
