Is there any way to:

- Make it so that a computer on the network (such as the CC) can connect
to the Internet via PhoneNet?

Either IPNetrouter (which I know by reputation, rather than experience) or else a hardware bridge. However, almost all of them only work with AppleTalk, not IP. There is one which does that, and it goes for a mint if it appears on eBay.

- Allow an OS X machine to access files on any of the Macs on the network
from an ethernet port. (The PM 6500 is connected to the Internet via
Ethernet and a LAN with a local router).

Much easier, although it may be easier 'going the other way'. Make sure the OS X Mac has Appletalk enabled,. Use a hardware bridge - like the Sonic MicroPrint 2, or the Asante equivalents. Again, they _can_ make a mint on eBay, but I've paid far less. Or you could try Apple's LaserWriter Bridge (I think it was called) which lets a Mac with both LocalTalk and Etherbet connectors act as a bridge. I used it on System 7 on an SE/30.

If any of this is possible, please let me know fairly comprehensive descirption of how it can work.

Google is your friend! ;-)
