Is your DNS server properly set? That has been an issue for me from time to time - just forgetting to set it...I had this something happen with my 280c, 7.6.1, FreePPP and iCab 2.9.8(68k). You need to have at least 1 DNS address and 1 IP from your ISP in the preferences in order to see web pages..
