Even as an Appletalk server over ethernet? I've tried
setting up the SE as such (Now running 7.0.1) but it
doesn't seem to help much.

I did. I still get the message. Perhaps I'm not
configuring it right.
I have it set up through a router; how can I configure
that?

 What exactly did

One of the peices of software ("Inside Ethernet")
doesn't recognize the presence of the card when I scan
for it; the online documentation that came with it
said this would happen.

Oh, and one other thing: this card has a random
switch on the back. It isn't labeled, and there's
nothing in the documentation about it. Does anybody
know anything about such a switch? I assume it's
either an on/off or RJ-45/Coax switch; but neither
setting has any effect on the apparent function of the
card.
