Hmmm... now I'm wondering if I should have used my SE or SE/30 for running my house lights. I had a Classic II that ran XTension software for the past 6 years (non-stop except for a two day power outage). (Version 2.0.7, bug fixed by 2.1.3) when the hard drive died. I had another Classic II I'd recently got from a friend so I swapped RAM to 10 MB and installed 7.5 on it and now it's running the house lights. I thought about upping it to 7.5.3 update, since I have that, but decided it's running fine for what it's doing and why break it? Anyway, I'll remember my SE the next time I have problems with a Classic.

I still use my SEs on occasion for the games, the apps, the fun of watching and listening
to it work.
