Yes, thanks! That's exactly what I need. The date of the Finder file (possibly, even probably, different on the two disks?) should be enough to tell me what version they are, since your disks are, obviously, pristine. Or of course if you boot the 512K/SE with them you can get the Finder version from "About the Finder ..." under the Apple menu, which would be enough. Given the date of the packing list and the content of the sticker on the box that you noted, almost certainly the 800K disk has System 4.1 Finder 5.5 ...
And, yes. I'd love to see photos of the disk and if you can the content of the update booklet, or at least get the full title for it and the addendum (a correction?). Often it is the details in these little updates and addenda that resolve questions about chronology and such.

I have a "very" original 512k that I can pop the 400k disc into to see what
comes up! - if you want.
