Hi all,

I have an SE30 that gives me the question mark (startup disk) icon. What to do? I have no apps (got the thing from free from a repair place) but want to make it my nostalgic letter-writer. It's got a single Superdrive but I think that means all that's available to me will be PC DD or HD floppies that I'll have to reformat somehow. Can someone help?

PS: I just read Brandon Davis' excellent treatise on old v. new hardware and software etc.. It's true, I also believe an amped-up G4 in an SE-30 case with Airport and a 200 GB drive is clever, but not much more. It's sort of like getting an old BMW 2002 and stuffing a 5-series motor in it. Cool, but ultimately inappropriate.
