Some more "eagle trivia": my favorite hard drive sound is the one made
by the Macintosh SE's drive.  Not the SE/30, but the SE.  I'm SURE you
guys know what I mean. :)

stiction.  I'm sure you all know that sound!  Sorry for the mean post, 
I'm
bummed out about the fat Mac problem.
Actually I've never heard that sound.  In all of my 25 years of 
computing, I have had only one HD die before I quit using it, and that 
was on a Linux box.

I should probably power up all of my Compacts to see if their HDs have 
frozen! ;)
