"SCA(80pin) and 68pin connectors have basially the same signals. In the SCA connector all 3 connectors (SCSI Bus, SCSI ID Selector, Power) normally found on a 68pin drive are combined into 1 single 80pin connector. There are adapters to convert 80 pin into the 3 seperate 68pin style connectors. They often also feature a 50 pin narrow connector and a terminator option. These SCA connectors are the most predominant connectors nowadays for pluggable (Hot Plug, Hot Swap) drives."
