Hello,
Well today I have successfully installed an LC575 motherboard into the Color Classic (after doing a RedEdit hack) - and then added what I think is a Quadra 800 cpu (68040 at 33 Mhz). I have 36MB in total RAM. The CC is running like a dream.
My thanks to everyone for their help!
Now to find a hard disk and cut that back panel...
