As an aside, we've gone around the bend on discussing
using a Classic II to surf and mail.

In itself, with DSL or Modem it's still an activity
that this Mac can support on it's own. Not that
websurfing with Netscape 2 or Internet Explorer 2 is
thrilling. But like finding a running
Yugo, that it CAN be done is a legacy and a monument
to the high standards set in place for the Compacts
when they were designed.

I think it should stand as an elegy that they still
can function in these settings today. If for nothing
else, as emailers and productivity machines.

The very reason this list still exists and we still
collect and hold these amazing computers, whereas some
others have passed into history as curios instead of
daily functionals.
