Thanks for the post. I'll hold off on my purchase until it is fixed. I've got a bunch of compacts that rely on my Centris Apple Server's connection to my Powerbook.

The mount_afp tool fails when directed to an OS 7.5 server. It worked OK from 10.2.1 thru 10.3.9. I am told there were problems with 10.0 and 10.1.

The returned error is -1070 which is cryptic but Finder says it's an incompatible AppleTalk device and cannot be mounted. It does see the SE/30 as a server though.

4 gibibytes. of operating system and you can't even maintain compatibility for 10 years? I can still run Excel 4 macros with Excel 2001. Take a lesson from Microsoft, Steve.

Fortunately I can easily go back to Panther. I have to have my SE/30 with it's real serial ports.
